Substitutions:

If you cannot find East Imperial Soda at your local store, Schwepps or SodaStream are good substitutes.

Iced Coffee Ball

  • 20 ml Birdy’s Into The Black Coffee Concentrate
  • 20 ml Birdy’s Organic Orange Syrup
  • 30 ml of Water
  • Combine 20 ml of Into The Black Coffee Concentrate with 20 ml Organic Orange Syrup and 30 ml of water.
  • Use a mini-funnel to pour the solution into an ice ball mould and freeze overnight.
  • The result is a slightly slushy ice coffee ball.

Recommendations:

Ibili makes a good ice ball mould and they come in packs of four. I got my set from Tools of The Trade (ToTT) but I’m sure Ibili and other similar brands are available at department stores with a more comprehensive selection of kitchenware.
